Vietnam Commissions New 29,000-Ton Grain Silo Complex to Bolster Food Security and Export Stability

12-01-2026

Project Overview: Strategic Configuration Meets Diverse Storage Needs

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam – A 29,000-ton grain storage complex, delivered by our company, has been officially completed and commissioned in Vietnam’s key agricultural region. The project, a testament to our professional strength in grain storage solutions, consists of one 15,000-ton silo, one 10,000-ton silo, and four 1,000-ton silos, tailored to Vietnam’s agricultural characteristics and market demands.

The strategic silo configuration is designed to cover multi-scenario storage requirements: the two large-capacity silos (15,000-ton and 10,000-ton) are dedicated to bulk storage of staple grains such as rice and corn, ensuring stable reserves for domestic supply and export preparation; the four 1,000-ton silos are used for classified storage of high-value specialty grains and seed stocks, effectively preventing cross-contamination. This modular design fully aligns with Vietnam’s agricultural supply chain modernization goals.

Core Advantages: Our Company's Advanced Products Adapt to Local Climate

Vietnam, as a major rice exporter, faces challenges of high humidity and temperature fluctuations under tropical monsoon climate, which puts strict requirements on grain storage facilities. Our company’s customized steel silo products perfectly address these pain points with outstanding performance.

All silos in the project adopt our company’s core technologies: corrosion-resistant galvanized steel structure with enhanced durability, 99.6% airtightness design to isolate moisture and pests, and a high-efficiency ventilation system that precisely regulates internal temperature and humidity. Additionally, the integrated intelligent monitoring system, a key product of our company, tracks grain temperature, moisture and pest activity in real time, enabling automatic early warning and intervention to avoid spoilage.

Project Value & Product Contribution: Reducing Losses and Enhancing Competitiveness

Prior to the project, Vietnam’s inadequate modern storage facilities led to 7-10% post-harvest grain losses. With our company’s advanced silo products and solutions, the complex is expected to reduce the loss rate to below 2%, achieving annual grain savings of over 2,000 tons.

The project will strongly support Vietnam’s $62.4-billion agricultural export sector by ensuring the quality and stability of stored grain. Meanwhile, our company’s intelligent storage system sets a benchmark for local modern agricultural facilities, laying a foundation for the promotion of advanced storage technologies in Vietnam’s major grain-producing areas.

Our Company's Strength: Professional Solutions for Global Agricultural Storage

The successful completion of this Vietnam project showcases our company’s rich experience in cross-border grain storage engineering and strong R&D capabilities in adaptive products. Our steel silo products, with their climate-adaptive design, intelligent management system and modular configuration, have been widely recognized in global markets.

Looking ahead, our company will continue to provide customized, high-quality storage solutions for global customers, contributing to the modernization of agricultural storage infrastructure and food security in various regions.
